Curriculum Vitae

Welcome to the Micro and Nano Mechanics group in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Iowa State University!

The broad range of research activities of the group include:

  • Micro and Nano surface machining

  • Experimental methods to study structure-property relationships

  • Thermo-mechanical characteristics of porous solids and biological materials

  • Mechanics of cellular materials

  • Mechanics of manufacturing processes at the micro/nano scale

We're located in Room 0218, Howe Hall. If you're interested in learning more about the group and the work we're doing, feel free to contact Prof. Bastawros or other members of the group with questions/comments.
